Using this website
You may browse this website and use its forms to contact us, sign up for updates, or, for our programs, submit an essay by email. Please don't use this website to send unlawful, harmful or abusive content, or to disrupt it or try to gain unauthorised access to it.
Our programs and competitions
The theme, eligibility, dates, prizes and rules for each edition of the Skrive Essay Competition, our writing workshops and our reading club are published on our Programs, Winners and FAQ pages, and may change from one edition to the next. Where these terms and a program's published rules differ, the published rules for that program apply.
Submissions and winning entries
Your essay remains your own work. By entering, you confirm it is your own original writing. If you are selected as a winner, you agree that we may share your name, school, a short description of your essay and, where we have it, your photograph on this website and in our other communications, to celebrate your achievement, unless you tell us otherwise.
Donations
Donations are voluntary. We do not process or store payment card details on this website: online gifts are made through our payment partner's own secure page, and mobile money or bank transfers are made directly to the accounts on our Donate page. We use donations to fund our programs, as described on that page.
Other websites
This website links to other websites, including our payment partner's website and our social media. We are not responsible for the content or practices of websites we don't run.
No guarantee
We do our best to keep this website accurate and available, but we don't promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions, and we can't guarantee any particular outcome from taking part in our programs.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page will always show when it was last changed.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana.
